    • Hi Anubhav,

    • Taking a look at your LinkedIn profile, it doesn't look like you have had any positions that were focused entirely as an agile coach. Is that correct? XXXX

    • Yes - your inference is correct XXXX. I do not have 'officially designated' / as per OL for 'Agile Coach'. My 2 cents - are you looking for a person who has defined 'designation' as AC. Regards !

    • You're kidding right?

    • If you haven't had the "designation" of agile coach in your job, its pretty unlikely that you would be prepared to be an agile coach

    • XXXX - Agree with the perception ar your end and views - it has to be in the similar way in the first sight. Howver, I gotta chance to go through my leanring exp. to perform that role. Before becoming a coach for team - I would think that first one has to first self-coach oneself. This is only I can say as of now. Regards !

    • Thanks again to you for taking out time from your schedule activites and have received inference from our conversation. Thank again XXXX. Regards !

    • I commend you on your own self-development; however, being able to do something for yourself does not equate to being able to coach another person.

6:51 PM Anubhav Sinha sent the following message at 7:01 PM
    • I presume, I have partially communicated the thought by saying as self-coach. 100% agree, being a self-coach will not give real time / implementation / discusser experience what one receive by doing with team engagement. Understand main pain areas of people and business and go through real time challenge when we go and interact with team coming first time in real. Although - I have had never been through 'coach designation' on paper, but it is/was also a part of my engagement. I am doing so in the current engagement as well as in previous orgs. also. Regards !

    • Your LinkedIn profile indicates that your desired career path is to be a CPO, not a coach. Is that correct?

    • XXXX - at first, sorry for making late reply due to other engagements. Eventually, I would also thank you for making out time from your busy schedule. Also, in advance, inconvenience regretted for long note :) :)

Before, I share my thoughts on your asked question, I, hereby, clear that - this pointers geeting exchanged in our conversation is only to reach at an understanding on both counterparts. Yes - I have mentioned CPO in my LinkedIn profile, however, it is illustrated as a Goal.

How we will define a Goal !!

Oneself has set the object of his/her ambition/effort or we can also say - an aim or desired result - expected upon effort. Now let's see on basics of Coach - guide, counsel, lead, mentor, pilot etc. Gradually, lets also have a look on business context of Coach with two aspects - Coaching is an approach to management - (1) how one carries out the role (2) Coaching is a set of skills to deliver results.

    • Allow me to exemplify - let's take - Cricket (as I can share more thoughts on this game :) - Who becomes a Coach - preferences are as - Team Captain (owner) or, Batsman and Opener Or All-rounder player (Techno-functional), Skipper/Wicketkeeper (Scrum Master). It is because various cofactors that derive to this - real time challenges/consequences, pressure (delivery), implementation scenarios (business priorities vs. planned sprint), Guidance and Trust on Low performers (mentoring) must present with Coach - in various formats such as ODI (one day international), T20 format, Test Match format, IPL etc. Please share your guidance and shoot your questions :) :)
      Regards, Anubhav
